We are not a big company. We don't have twenty offices, fifty trucks and a hundred billboards. No fancy office, no TV commercials. Guess who pays for all of that? Yup , you. That's not at all how I roll.

Three quotes, one lesson
A homeowner got three quotes. Here is how that went.

Quote 1, Prodigy
Our recommendation
We inspected the roof first, then recommended a high-quality system with proper waterproofing underneath it. We explained why every layer was there.

Quote 2, Big outfit
$5,000 more
Same materials as ours, five thousand dollars higher. That gap is overhead: offices, billboards, commissions. The homeowner pays for all of it.
Same roof, higher price.
Quote 3, “Budget” bid
$5,000 less
New shingles installed straight over the old ones. No tear-off, no explanation of why underlayment matters. Cheapest number on the table.
Failed in six months.
What happened next
He took the cheapest bid. Six months later the roof was leaking, layering new shingles over old ones trapped moisture and caused premature failure. His contractor had never explained why the underlayment mattered, and then stopped answering the phone. He called us back. We tore out the faulty system and installed what we recommended the first time.
